Gas pedal module 1. Accelerator pedal unit: Accelerator pedal position sensor "G79" and Accelerator pedal position sensor 2 "G185"; cars with DSG gearbox: after replacement, perform "adaptation" in "Guided functions" mode; 2. Pedal bracket; 3. Bolt: 8 Nm; 4. Electrical plug connection
Removal the gas pedal module with the gas pedal position sensor "G79" / "G185"
Remove the lower instrument panel trim on the driver's side. Disconnect the plug connector "2" by pressing the lock "1" upwards "arrow". Unscrew the bolt "3" and remove the gas pedal module downwards.
Install
Installation is in reverse order, taking into account the following: Install the gas pedal module "4" from below on the pedal support "1", insert the centering pin "2" and tighten the bolt "3".
Install the lower instrument panel trim on the driver's side. Cars with DSG gearbox: after replacement, perform "adaptation of the Kick-down mode switch" in the "Guided functions" mode.
