Remember that when driving in the mountains, the physical capabilities of the cruise control are limited. When coasting on roads with steep slopes and under certain conditions, the car can accelerate beyond the programmed speed.
Warning: Do not use the cruise control in high traffic conditions or in poor road conditions (ice, gravel, wet road).
At speeds over 40 km/h and with cruise control on, do not shift to neutral without depressing the clutch pedal! Otherwise, the engine speed may increase sharply, which in certain circumstances may cause engine failure!
The cruise control is controlled by the A slider and the B button on the turn signal and low beam lever.
Turning on

The system is activated by moving the A engine to the EIN position.
Speed programming
When the desired speed is reached, press and release button B (FIX). The set speed is maintained.
The speed can be increased beyond the programmed value by pressing the accelerator pedal. After releasing the pedal, the system will adjust the speed back to the previously programmed value.
This does not apply if the programmed speed is exceeded by more than 10 km/h for more than 5 minutes. In this case, reprogram the speed.
Decrease speed
The set speed can be reduced by pressing button B.
Each short press of the button reduces the speed by 1.5 km/h. If you hold the button down, the speed decreases automatically. When you release it, the current speed is remembered.
Releasing the button at a speed of less than 40 km/h resets the memory data of the memory device. In this case, after reaching a speed of over 40 km/h, reprogram the speed using button B.
Increase speed
The set speed can be increased by moving the engine A to the AUFN position without pressing the accelerator pedal.
Each short press of the slider increases the speed by 1.5 km/h. If you hold the slider down, the speed increases automatically. When you release it, the current speed is remembered.
Temporary system shutdown
The system is temporarily disabled when the brake or clutch pedal is pressed or when the engine A is moved to the AUS position (without fixation).
The speed programmed at this point is saved in memory.
To reproduce (AUFN) a previously programmed speed, move the A slider to the extreme left position, releasing the brake or clutch pedal.
If the speed was not programmed during temporary shutdown, the new speed is set by engine A in the following order:
On vehicles with a petrol engine, briefly move the control lever A to the extreme left position, then move it to the left again and hold it until the desired speed is reached.
On cars with a diesel engine, it is enough to push the engine A to the left until it stops and hold it until the desired speed is reached. When you release the engine, the speed is memorized.
Warning: Only play the programmed speed if it is not too high for the actual driving conditions.
Complete system shutdown
Complete shutdown of the system is achieved by moving the A engine all the way to the right (fixed position AUS) or – when the vehicle is stationary – by turning off the ignition.
