Governing bodies
Function switch (A) and reset key ("Reset") (IN) mounted in the wiper control handle.
With the ignition on and repeatedly pressing the top / bottom side of the function switch (A) they are displayed sequentially.
In addition, the warning level 2 of the overspeed alarm is set by the function switch.
1) On vehicles with driver information system (FIS).
By pressing the reset key (Reset) (at least 1 second) you can reset the stored values "driving time, average fuel consumption and average speed". In addition, by briefly pressing the button, you can interrupt the signal computer indication that warns of exceeding the time limit for continuous driving.
If necessary, by pressing the reset button, you can turn off and turn on the digital display of the instrument panel.
When the ignition is switched on, the last function at the time the ignition was switched off is displayed.
When the battery terminals are disconnected, all accumulated values are erased.
Display
The trip computer provides the following information:
- current fuel consumption
- fuel range
- driving time
- average fuel consumption
- average speed
l/100 km current fuel consumption
The display shows the values of the current fuel consumption, measured in l/100 km.
The consumption is calculated for each 30-meter section of the track. When the vehicle is stopped, the last calculated value is displayed.
If, after starting the engine, the function for determining the current fuel consumption is called, then on the first 30-40 meters of the way, its average value is displayed.
With this display, you can select the driving mode that corresponds to the optimal fuel consumption.
km fuel range
The fuel range is determined by discrete values measured in steps of 10 km. This display shows how many kilometers the vehicle can travel with the actual remaining fuel in the current driving mode.
The fuel consumption for the last 30 km is taken as the basis for calculating the range. With a more economical subsequent movement, the range increases.
h travel time
The display shows the travel time counting from the last reset of the memory data. When the ignition is off, the value of the travel time is saved. When the movement continues, the subsequent countdown is added to it.
The travel time limit is 23 hours and 59 minutes.
If you want to start counting the travel time from a certain moment, clear the memory by pressing the key "Reset".
Reminder to take a break from driving
Two hours after the start of the movement, regardless of the programmed function, there is an automatic switch to the indication of the travel time. Flashing view indication "2:00" reminds the driver to take a break from driving.
By briefly pressing the top or bottom side of the function switch, or the key "Reset" this indication can be turned off. If the ignition is left on, or if the break is less than 10 minutes, then every two hours thereafter, the reminder to stop for a rest will be repeated with an indication of the travel time like 4:00, 6:00, etc.
If the break lasts more than 10 minutes with the ignition off, the travel time data is reset.
l/100 km – Average fuel consumption
The display shows the average fuel consumption since the last memory reset. Do not confuse it with current fuel consumption.
When the ignition is off, the value of the average fuel consumption is stored in memory. When driving continues, the subsequent consumption data is taken into account.
To clear the memory data, press the key "Reset". When driving the first 30 m after the reset, a zero value is displayed on the display.
km/h - average speed
The display shows the average driving speed since the last memory reset. When the ignition is off, this value is stored in memory. When continuing the movement, the data of the subsequent run are taken into account.
To clear the memory data, press the key "Reset".
Fuel consumption, fuel range and speed are displayed in metric units, and in certain export versions in the English system of units (l/100 km – mpg, km – mi, km/h – mph).
The illustration shows the current fuel consumption as an example.
