Adjusting the windshield wiper arm (Audi A2)

Unlock the service cover from the inside. Unlock the hood and pull it forward a little. Remove the hood. Remove the windshield wiper lever "2". Turn on the ignition. Press the "windshield wiper button" and bring the windshield wiper motor to the end position. Turn off the ignition.



Place the wiper arm with the blade installed on the axle and align the blade on the windshield as follows: dimension "a" = 22 + 5 mm.



Dimension "a" means the distance from the ends of the brushes "1" to the black grille of the fairing on the lower edge of the glass. Tighten the wiper arm nut. Turn on "single wipe" and bring the wiper arm to the end position. Turn off the ignition. Check the position of the wiper arm, adjust it if necessary.

Tightening torque: Wiper arm to axle: 21 Nm.
