Spare wheel

The car is equipped with a spare wheel with a standard tire. Some export versions are equipped not with a standard tire, but with a compact emergency wheel.

The spare wheel is located in a niche under the luggage compartment flooring and is secured with a special bolt.

When using a spare tire with a unidirectional tread pattern, keep the following in mind:

The direction of rotation of the wheel is determined by the arrow marking on the sidewall of the tire.

Installing a wheel in the opposite direction to its normal rotation, determined by the tread pattern, is only possible temporarily, since the tire in this case cannot fully realize its inherent optimal driving characteristics, such as lack of a tendency to aquaplaning, noiselessness and wear resistance. We especially recommend remembering this in wet weather, proportioning the speed of movement to the condition of the roadway.

To take full advantage of the unidirectional tread pattern, replace the damaged tire as soon as possible or remount the spare tire to the correct rotation direction.

When equipping your vehicle with a compact emergency wheel, remember the following:

The emergency wheel is intended for short-term occasional use only. Therefore, replace it with a wheel with a standard tire at the first opportunity.

After installing the spare tire, check the air pressure in it as soon as possible. The pressure should be 4.2 bar.

Don't exceed the speed limit 80 km/h. Avoid accelerating with the accelerator pedal fully depressed, abrupt braking and reckless driving on turns!

The emergency wheel is specially designed for a specific car model. Therefore, it cannot be used on cars of other models. Emergency wheels of cars of other brands cannot be used either.

For technical reasons, the use of anti-skid chains on the compact emergency wheel is not permitted.

Therefore, if you need to drive with anti-skid chains, remove and put back the compact emergency wheel. In turn, install the removed rear wheel in place of the front compact emergency wheel. It is recommended to put on anti-skid chains before installing the wheel. After that, bring the air pressure in the tires to normal as quickly as possible.

Standard or winter tires must not be mounted on the emergency wheel rim.

Never drive with more than one spare tire.
