Headlight adjustment screws
(left main headlight shown, right headlight adjusting screws mirrored)
- 1 - vertical adjustment
- 2 - horizontal adjustment
Order of execution
1. Proper headlight adjustment is essential for driving safety. Fine adjustment of the headlights is possible only with a special device. Therefore, it only shows where the headlights are adjusted and what conditions must be met for correct adjustment.
2. When adjusting the headlights, the fog lights, if any, are also adjusted.
Adjustment conditions
1. Tires must be inflated to the specified air pressure.
2. The vehicle must not be loaded. A 75 kg load must be placed on the driver's seat (one man).
3. Fill the fuel tank to at least 90%.
4. Park the vehicle on level ground.
5. Push the front of the car down hard several times to get the front suspension shock absorbers to their correct position.
6. Set the headlight range control to "0".
7. Headlights should only be adjusted in low beam. The slope for a normal headlight is x = 10 cm per 10 m length. The tilt ratio is stamped on the headlight holder (1.0% 10cm at 10m) (C and arrow).
Adjustment
1. Insert a Phillips screwdriver through the holes (A/B) or (1/2) in the lock holder.
2. Turn the adjusting screws until the correct setting is achieved.
