  • 2 - horizontal adjustment

Execution order

1. For the safety of the vehicle, the correct adjustment of the headlights is of great importance. Precise adjustment of the headlights is only possible with a special device. Therefore, here it is only shown where the headlights are adjusted and what conditions must be met for correct adjustment.

2. When adjusting the headlights, the fog lights, if any, are also adjusted.

Adjustment conditions

1. Tires must be inflated to the specified air pressure.

2. The car must not be loaded. The driver's seat must be loaded with a load of 75 kg (one person).

3. Fill the fuel tank at least 90% full.

4. Place the vehicle on a level surface.

5. Press the front of the car down hard several times to get the front suspension shock absorbers into their correct position.

6. Set the headlight range control to "0".

7. Headlights should be adjusted only for low beam. The inclination is for a normal headlight x = 10 cm per 10 m of length. The inclination ratio is stamped on the headlight holder (1.0% 10 cm per 10 m) (C and arrow).

Adjustment

1. Insert a Phillips head screwdriver through the holes (A/B) or (1/2) in the lock holder.

2. Turn the adjustment screws to achieve the correct setting.
