Execution order
1. Repairs to serious body damage must be carried out in a specialized auto repair shop that has the necessary equipment.
2. In case of extensive damage to the body, first of all, you should make sure that there are no displacements of panel elements that could affect the controllability of the car or cause increased wear of any of its components.
3. Due to the fact that most of the body elements (hood, fenders, etc.) are separate components that can be replaced individually, and replacing them in the event of serious damage does not seem advisable. It is often much more reasonable and economical to find a suitable replacement element, which can be found not only in auto parts stores, but also in car junkyards, which naturally allows you to significantly reduce costs.
When carrying out welding work
When performing welding or other work involving strong sparking near the battery, be sure to remove the battery.
Welding and soldering of air conditioning system components should not be performed. This also applies to those vehicle components whose welding may cause heating of air conditioning components. When performing repair and painting work in the drying chamber or in its heating zone, the temperature should not exceed +80°.
Connecting units to the body
Warning: To maintain a secure ground connection and prevent damage due to corrosion, do not disconnect wires from the body. Disconnect wires only from the battery, engine, or transmission.
Before connecting ground wires or busbars, clean all connection points down to bare metal. Make sure that ground bolt connections are securely tightened.
