The fresh air/recirculation flaps are controlled by an electric drive. A lever mechanism is used to set both flaps to the position specified by the driver. In the "Defrost" position, the recirculation mode switch is locked electronically.

The heat exchanger is mounted on the air flow distributor housing from below. The heat exchanger can be removed without dismantling the climate control module. Both refrigerant pipes are secured with two spring clamps.
