Removal
Set the vehicle's wheels to move straight ahead.
Take it off steering column switches.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition switch.
Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the on position "Ignition on".

Remove the protective paint from the two ignition switch mounting bolts, unscrew the bolts and pull the ignition switch out of the steering column housing (see Fig. 18–54).
Installation
Make sure the key in the ignition switch is in the on position "Ignition on".
Insert the ignition switch into the housing and secure it with bolts. Paint the bolt heads.
Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal
