Removal



Instructions. When performing removal and installation work, minor deviations from the manual are possible due to different vehicle configuration options. Before removing the seat: disconnect the flat braided battery ground wire.


1. Front seat. Move the seat forward. Remove the seat console trim on the tunnel side. Remove the…


1. Front seat. Move the seat forward. Remove the seat console trim on the tunnel side. Remove the seat console trim on the sill side. Unscrew screws "2" (2 pcs.). Move the seat back. Unscrew screws "3" (2 pcs.). On cars with seat heating, disconnect the plug connector. Connect the Airbag adapter "VAS 5094". Remove the seat from the car.

Installation



Install the seat in the car. Remove the adapter for the Airbag "VAS 5094". On cars with seat heating, connect the plug connector. Always observe the tightening sequence of the screws. Tighten screw "3" from the tunnel side. Tighten screw "3" from the sill side. Move the seat forward. Tighten screw "2" from the tunnel side. Tighten screw "2" from the sill side. Turn on the ignition. Connect the battery.

2/3. Bolts. Tightening torque 23 Nm.
