Removal
1. Remove the rear headliner, refer to subsection Removal and installation the rear roof trim.
2. Remove the tailgate –6–, refer to subsection Removal and installation the tailgate.
3. Unscrew nut –5– and remove it together with washer –4–.
4. Remove bolt –1–.
5. Remove loop –2– and gasket –3–.
Installation
1. Install the hinge –2– with the new seal –3–.
2. Screw in bolt –1– and tighten it to a torque of 20 Nm.
3. Screw on nut –5– with washer –4– from the reverse side and tighten it to a torque of 20 Nm.
4. Install the tailgate, refer to the subsection Removal and installation the tailgate.
5. Adjust the position of the tailgate, refer to the subsection Tailgate adjustment.
6. Install the rear headliner, refer to subsection Removal and installation the rear roof trim.
