When removing the wire «masses» the memory of the electronic control units and the radio receiver is erased from the battery.
The standard equipment of the car includes a radio receiver with a coded anti-theft device, which is made on the basis of a microprocessor. After disconnecting the radio from the car's on-board network (battery removal, radio removal, or initial radio installation) you must enter a security code. The radio can only be switched on after entering the correct code.
Before removing wire «masses» from the battery, check if you have the radio code. In the absence of a security code, the radio can only be put into operation at an authorized Audi workshop.
The individual radio security code is contained in the technical documentation attached to the car upon sale.
