Loosen the screws securing the left and right bumper ventilation grilles and remove the grilles (see Fig. 3.2–1).

From below the bumper, unscrew the bumper mounting bolts (see Fig. 16–2).

Insert socket wrench 5 (Fig. 16–5) through the opening for the ventilation grilles into threaded sleeve 4 of shock absorber 3.

By turning the threaded sleeve 4 in the shock absorber 3 in one direction or another, adjust the position of the front part of the bumper in height.

Screw in the bumper mounting bolts.

Install and secure the ventilation grilles.

Unscrew bolt 1 (see Fig. 16–5) securing the side bumper bracket by several turns.

Adjust the position of the side parts of the bumper in relation to the front fenders by moving bracket 2 forward or backward.

Tighten the side bumper bracket mounting bolt.
