Fuel pump remote control connection for testing and necessary accessories
- 1 push contact switch
- 2 clamp "crocodile" (size corresponding to the battery pole)
- 3 built-in fuse: body and 8 A fuse
- 4 flat plug that can be installed in place of the fuel pump fuse
- 5 single core cable 1.5 mm2 and 5 m long
Gasoline engines
Remote control is required when the electric fuel pump must deliver fuel when the engine is off.
1. Remove the No. 28 fuel pump fuse in the fuse box (the fifth fuse from the top, while referring to the illustration).
2. Insert the flat plug remote control into the fuse contacts in the fuse box.
3. Connect the remote control with a contact "crocodile" to the positive pole (+) battery.
4. If the remote switch push switch is turned on, the fuel pump should pump fuel, which should be heard.
