When working on the fuel supply/injection system, the following industrial hygiene rules must be strictly observed. Before disconnecting components, thoroughly clean the connection points. Place the removed components on a clean surface and cover them. Do not use fibrous rags! Carefully cover or seal open components if repairs are not to be carried out immediately after removal. Install only clean components: remove spare parts from their packaging immediately before installation. Do not use components that have been stored without packaging (for example, in toolboxes). If the system is open: do not work with compressed air. It is not recommended to move the vehicle. Also, make sure that diesel fuel does not get on the coolant hoses. If necessary, immediately clean the hoses again. Corroded fuel hoses must be replaced.

Instructions. Observe the rules for maintaining cleanliness. Replace gaskets, cuffs and self-locking nuts. The supercharging system must be airtight. Hoses and pipes of the air supercharging system must be cleaned from oils and grease before installation. Do not use lubricants under any circumstances. Use clamps of the appropriate series to secure all hose connections.
