Removal
Remove the front wheel.

Unscrew bolt 1 (Fig. 14–21) securing the steering rod end to the steering knuckle.
Unscrew nut 5 and remove bolt 2 with a square head securing the steering rod end to the steering knuckle. Do not widen the grooves in the steering knuckle when removing the upper transverse arms.
Pull the tie rod end downwards from the steering knuckle.
Loosen the lock nut 3 and unscrew the tie rod end. The outer surface of the tie rod is made in the form of a hexagon 4, which is used to hold the tie rod from turning when loosening the lock nut to secure the tie rod end.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Check and adjust if necessary front wheel alignment angles.
