Removal
Unlock the cable channel cover. Remove the connector from the clamps and disconnect. When removing, turn mirror "1" by 60...90° "arrow B" so that the locking spring disengages, and remove the mirror "arrow A".
Installation
Cable channel "2" must not be used for unscrewing.
When installing, turn mirror "1" by 60...90° to install it in the mounting position arrow A-, then turn "arrows B" until the locking spring snaps into place.
Checking the operation of the mirror
Checking the operation of the installed rearview mirror with the ignition on: reverse gear cannot be used. Cover with hand (or seal it) photo sensor on the front side. Shine a lamp or flashlight on the photo sensor on the back side of the mirror. The rearview mirror should quickly darken.
