Removal
Remove the engine hood. Remove the soundproofing casing, loosen the fasteners for this.
Caution! Risk of damage to the disconnecting element. Do not bend the disconnecting element in the front intake pipe more than 10°.
Unscrew nuts "1". Ignore position "2" and "arrows".
Remove electrical connectors "3" for lambda probe "G39" and "4" for exhaust gas temperature sensor 1 "G235" from the bracket and disconnect. Unscrew bolts "1" and "2".
Unscrew the "arrow" bolts, put aside the electrical wiring harness and remove the heat shield.
Unscrew the "arrow" nuts and remove the pre-catalyst.
Installation
Installation is in reverse order, in this case it is necessary to install the heat shield. Install the soundproofing screen.
