Removal



To remove the glove compartment lock cylinder, use a screwdriver with a diameter of 1.6 and a length of 40 mm.

Take it off glove box and place it in the passenger footwell.

Turn the outer knurled nut of the cable mount, disconnect the cable from the glove box lock and remove the lock (Fig. 16–44).

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.

If glove box does not close properly, adjust the cable length with the adjusting nut.
