The glove box with a lock is shown in Fig. 16–38.

Removal



Open the glove compartment.

Loosen the glove box mounting screws (Fig. 16–39).

Move the glove box back out of the guides.

Disconnect the electrical connectors and place the box in the passenger footwell.

Unscrew the nuts and remove the glove compartment lock (Fig. 16–40).

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.

If the glove box does not close or is located with a gap, adjust the lock by moving it in the holes of larger diameter.
