Execution order
1. Every three months, remove the carpets and mats and clean the interior panels of the car (if necessary, this procedure can be performed more often). To remove dust and debris, as well as to clean the rugs and mats, you can use a stiff brush or broom. Afterwards, the rugs and interior upholstery must be thoroughly vacuumed, especially along the seams and folds.
2. Stubborn dirt can be removed from the mats using household or car shampoos sold in aerosol form. Follow the manufacturer's instructions, then vacuum the mats and "fluff" them with a stiff brush.
3. Most of the interior panels are covered with vinyl upholstery, for the care of which there are many special cleaners and shampoos - ask in car accessories stores. Follow the manufacturer's instructions, and before starting a global cleaning, test the new composition on a hidden area of the upholstery (for example, the bottom surface of the cushions or the lower edge of the seat backs), having determined its ability to cause color changes and other undesirable consequences.
4. After cleaning, vinyl upholstery should be treated with a protective compound.
Warning: Before using for seat treatment, read the instructions for the composition - not all of them are suitable for this, making the seats too slippery.
Warning: Do not treat the vinyl steering wheel cover with protective compounds.
5. Leather upholstery requires special care. It should be cleaned regularly using saddle soap or special cleaning compounds. Under no circumstances should you attempt to remove stains from leather upholstery surfaces using alcohol, gasoline, nail polish remover, or leather solvent.
6. After cleaning, regularly treat the leather upholstery with special conditioners, which should be rubbed in with a soft cotton cloth. Never try to treat the leather upholstery with wax for the care of body panels.
7. When leaving your car in the sun for a long time, try to cover the illuminated areas of the leather upholstery with something.
