The engine code and number are additionally duplicated on a plate located on the timing belt cover.

On V6 petrol engines, the engine number is stamped on the right inside side of the cylinder block between the cylinder head and the hydraulic pump (Fig. 2–33).

On V8 petrol engines, the engine number is stamped on the left side of the cylinder block above the hydraulic pump (Fig. 2–34).
On V8–5V petrol engines, the engine number is stamped on the left side of the cylinder block (Fig. 2–35).
