Interior upholstery elements are attached with screws or various types of staples.
Before removing an interior trim piece, make sure it is not being held in place by another piece of trim placed on top of it.
First, remove the visible screws holding the interior trim piece in place. If it does not come off after this, it is held in place by hidden clips or clamps. These are usually located around the perimeter of the trim piece and can be removed using a wide, flat blade screwdriver.
To install, align the retainer with the hole and, pressing on the interior trim panel, firmly fix it in the hole.
